Success in business often comes down to skill, timing, and luck. Soon after founding Crummer Poker Tables, entrepreneur Bob Crummer discovered he’d been dealt a generous hand of all three.

A skilled designer and builder and enthusiastic poker player, Bob began designing and manufacturing poker tables in response to grumbling from his poker buddies about the quality of the tables they played on. Within five months, Bob had registered his business, developed preferred supplier agreements across North America for fabric supplies, wood, and accessories, secured a studio – and tapped into one of the hottest recreational trends going.

A savvy marketer, Bob has secured co-marketing agreements that have garnered his company high-profile publicity including contra deals with the nationally televised show, The Score Poker and its accompanying website www.scorepoker.com, and cross promotions with Molson Coors Light, Dooly’s and the North American College Poker Championships.

If running a thriving business isn’t work enough, Bob is also completing a Management degree at Dalhousie University.

“I’ve never worked so hard in my life,” he says. “But I’ve never enjoyed my work – or my life – so much.”
